Offer number 1

I have not e-mailed any place yet. But I will. I promise. Lucky for me I already have someone championing my cause. She was telling of my heroic mission to others. In a pub. I wasn't there. They may have laughed, I'm not sure, but I have had one offer. A friend of ours, Nina, knows a folk dance! And she is going to teach it to me! Hoorah!!! What more could a girl ask for except for a millionaire?

So. There you have it. A folk dance found. A date to be set and the mission can begin.

The Plan

Ok. So here is the plan. At first I thought I'd just research folk dances and then dance then at home or in local pubs or what have you. Now I have a new plan. I will right to all places that teach folk dancing in London, offer a review of what the dance is like (with a few photos of course) and then bob's your uncle. Good plan yes? I thought so. Now...to e-mail...all...those...places....

The Beginning

In the grand tradition of beginnings, everything must begin somewhere. I was briefly chatting to a friend who said she had a new mission. To collect all Steve Guttenburg movies (excluding television and made for TV movies) and write about it. So came the birth of The Steve Guttenburg Project. Not to be out done and think ing everyone must have a mission, I have come up with a great idea. Actually she came up with the great idea. Learn all the folk dances of the world. I knew a challenge when I heard one. So this is the beginning. Well the beginning of the idea. The beginning of the blog. And one day soon, the actual beginning will take place. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I will jump like the kids in fame. It's actually fun...
